As outlined on the Presbyterian Night Shelter page of our site, we serve the community of homeless families every Sunday evening by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
On the last Saturday of every month, we bring homemade soups, sandwiches and casseroles to the Lancaster Street location and feed the families gathered there to welcome us to their community.
Matthew 25:35-36 (NIV)
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
1 John 3:17 (NIV)
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
Here is just a video sample of what goes on when we meet downtown. Don't limit yourself to just watching... join us and participate!
